Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2022. /Kabar/. The 2nd Regional Tourism Forum on the topic “Sustainable development of tourism through joint efforts” has started in the Osh Regional National Drama Theater.
Within the framework of the forum, the International Exhibition-Fair "Kyrgyzstan on the Great Silk Road", the International Gastronomic Festival "With Nomads’ food), performances of ethno-folklore groups and musical groups of the city department of culture were opened.
The events are attended by representatives of the cities of Osh, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Naryn, Batken, artisans from a number of districts of the Osh region, the guild of artisans of the city of Osh, a food zone and an exhibition zone are organized.
During the opening ceremony, honorary diplomas were presented to distinguished institutions in the tourism sector, travel companies and departments. Several plenary sessions are also held during which everyone can get information about the development of international cooperation in the field of tourism, the tourism potential of the city of Osh and the Osh region, the role of the city of Osh on the Great Silk Road.
