Secretary of Security Council of Kyrgyzstan meets with EU Special Rep for Central Asia

Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2023. /Kabar/. Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia Terhi Hakala.

A thorough exchange of views took place on issues of regional and global security, as well as on the prospects for cooperation with the European Union in strengthening stability in the region.

Marat Imankulov noted that the European Union is a close partner of Kyrgyzstan, with which there has been effective cooperation on a systematic basis since gaining independence. In matters of interaction, it is relevant to develop measures to counter such challenges and threats as international terrorism, extremism, climate change and others.
