Security Council of Kyrgyzstan approves Concept of National Security

Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2021. / Kabar /. The National Security Concept of Kyrgyzstan has been approved today at a meeting of the Security Council of the country chaired by President Sadyr Zhaparov, the press service of the head of state reported.

During the meeting, Secretary of the Security Council Marat Imankulov presented the draft National Security Concept of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The head of state noted in his speech that the previous Concept of National Security was approved in 2012.

“However, the challenges and threats to national security are not static, they are transforming and developing.

The rapid development of innovative technologies in all spheres of activity, the growth of aggression and other negative factors annually, monthly and daily create new challenges and threats to national security. In this regard, the concept and programs and doctrines developed on its basis should not be a static document, a dogma that does not tolerate changes.

The implementation of the Concept will contribute to the preservation of society, human development, improving the quality of life and well-being of citizens, strengthening the defense capability, unity and harmony of society, achieving the goals of national development, competitiveness and increasing international prestige,” Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized.

The members of the Security Council unanimously approved the new National Security Concept of the Kyrgyz Republic.
