Bishkek, April 5, 2023. / Kabar/. The women's Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan was defeated by rivals from India in the first match of the qualification round for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The game took place on Tuesday in Bishkek at the stadium named after Dolon Omurzakov. The guests won with a score of 0:5. The second match will be held on Friday, April 7. The national team needs not only to win, but also to do it with a higher score than the one recorded in the first match (to score more than 5 goals).
Kyrgyzstan, India and Turkmenistan were supposed to participate in the first round of group qualifying games. Turkmenistan refused to participate. According to the regulations, Kyrgyzstan and India will play two matches. The team with the most scores after the two games will enter the next stage.
