Kyrgyz chess player wins gold at International Chess Festival in Russia

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2018 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz chess player Semetei Tologontegin won the gold at the International Chess Festival Memorial of Mikhail Lozovatsky-2018.

President of the Chess Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, Milan Turpanov said that the tournament took place from Jan. 9 to Jan.17 in Chelyabinsk (Russia). It was held on a circular system and only 10 chess players from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic and the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the event.

International master Tologontegin performed in the tournament "B". With 7.5 points he turned out to be on the 1 line of the tournament.
