Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2018 / Kabar /. Yesterday, the seminar on promotion of investments in the Kyrgyz Republic was held in Tokyo, where the key speaker was E.Momunkulov, the Director of the Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments (APPI) in the Kyrgyz Republic.
E.Momunkulov in his presentation informed the audience about the economic situation in the country, existing infrastructure projects, including energy sector, the National Digital Transformation Program Taza Koom, as well as favorable conditions created for foreign investors and the advantages of investing in the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Ch. Aydarbekov also spoke at the opening ceremony. He stressed democratic achievements of the Kyrgyz Republic, stable state development and high level of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations, urging Japanese businessmen to invest actively in the economy of Kyrgyzstan, by demonstrating vivid examples of such Japanese companies as Sawada Holdings and TokyoRopeMFGCo., Ltd , which entered the Kyrgyz market in 2017.
Representatives of more than 80 Japanese companies, as well as Japan International Development Agency (JICA), Japan Foreign Trade Organization-JETRO, Japan Association for Trade with Russia and New Independent States -ROTOBO and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the seminar.
