Bishkek, March 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Medical workers over 65, pregnant women with young children and with chronic diseases, were sent on paid labor leave, head of the public health department of the Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan Ainura Akmatova told at a briefing in the Government House on Friday.
She noted that such a decision was made in order to avoid infection of paramedics with coronavirus.
In addition, Akmatova said that medical workers are provided with personal protective equipment.
Today 14 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Kyrgyzstan. As a result, the number of people infected with coronavirus reached 58.
