Seven members of Hizb-ut-Tahrir detained in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 13 / Kabar /. Chui oblast police detained seven members of the banned religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

Extremist and religious literature was found during the search in the homes of the detainees, whose age is from 21 to 40 years, the report said.

Besides, a computer, 3 laptops, an audible device, a tablet, 13 pieces of cell phones, a camera, 8 flash cards, 78 books, 52 DVD disks, 2 hand-written exercise books, a notebook, a leaflet, 9 video cassettes, 2 audio cassettes with the materials of the banned religious organization Hizb ut-Tahrir were found during the search.

The investigation is under way.
