Bishkek, June 8, 2020 / Kabar /. At present, 729 thousand 417 economic entities operate in Kyrgyzstan - these are small, medium and large enterprises, farms and individual entrepreneurs.
According to data of the Ministry of Economy, compared with last year, this number increased by 17 thousand 806 units. The largest increase occurred among individual entrepreneurs. Over the year, their number has grown by more than 8.4 thousand people.
Also, the number of farms increased by more than eight thousand.
As of the beginning of 2020, the number of employed people is 2 million 382.5 thousand people.
In addition, despite the pandemic, several enterprises were commissioned in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year.
A total of 93 thousand 18 working places were created in Kyrgyzstan, according to the Ministry of Labour and Social Development.
