In the village of Kashgar-Kyshtak, Kara-Suu district of Osh region, the implementation of the second stage of an investment project for the production of textile material and knitted fabrics has started, Talantbek Imanov, director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
He said that the project is being implemented by Eurasia Group LLC, the total investment amount is $40 million.
“Today, work has already been completed on the implementation of the first stage of construction of a factory for the production of clothing products by the Eurasia Group company; the amount of already invested funds is 5 million US dollars. At the same time, we inform you that it is planned to implement the second stage, where the amount will be 35 million US dollars,” the official added.
He noted that this project is socially significant for the development of the region, since the factory plans to create at least 600 jobs, which will provide jobs for the local population and increase tax revenues to the budget of Kyrgyzstan.
