Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2018. Kabar. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan today.
First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov met a high guest at the Issyk-Kul international airport, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the sixth meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTS) in the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held on September 3, 2018 in Cholpon-Ata.
SSTG is an international organization uniting modern Turkic states, the main purpose of which is the development of all-round cooperation between member states. The Member States of the CCTS are the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey.
It should be noted that this year the chairmanship in the CCTS moved from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic.
