Bishkek, May 9, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“This date is inscribed in golden letters in the history of our countries as a glorious victory in the war, in which the fraternal Uzbek and Kyrgyz peoples heroically fought in body and soul against a common enemy.
For today's generations, it is both a duty and an obligation, showing kindness and gratitude, to create favorable conditions for our veterans and ancestors, who gave humanity such priceless blessings as peace and tranquility,” the congratulatory message says.
President of Uzbekistan also expressed confidence that the strategic partnership between the two countries, based on the bonds of long-standing friendship and good-neighbourly relations between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, will continue to consistently develop through joint efforts.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Sadyr Zhaparov good health, family happiness, great success in responsible state activities, and well-being and prosperity to the fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan.
