Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2018. /Kabar/. Signing of the Protocol of discussion on the “Project on the development of human resources for improving the quality of milk and dairy products” between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic will take place on October 9, 2018, at 16.00, the Great Hall of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic will sign.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency reported that the main goal of the Project is the development of human resources in food laboratories of the Center for Standardization and Metrology under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republican Center for Veterinary Diagnosis and Expertise (RCVDE) under the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the framework of the Project, experts in food safety management and the HACCP management system will be sent to Kyrgyzstan to conduct training for veterinary and sanitary inspectors, as well as employees of the above laboratories. In addition, the Project will assist government agencies in developing a Training Program for Trainers (ToT), based on the Prerequisites Program for Food Safety.
The expected result at the end of the Project is an increase in the distribution of milk and dairy products produced in the Kyrgyz Republic to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union by ensuring the quality and safety of milk and dairy products.
