Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2018. /Kabar/. The Silk Way industrial park will occupy an area of 70 hectares and will provide up to 35 thousand new jobs by 2023, Director General of Silk Way LLC industrial park Adilet Kubanychbekov told during the solemn ceremony of laying the capsule.
He said that the main area of work for the park will be textile, clothing and footwear production. It is planned to build 112 specialized factories in the park, where large enterprises, as well as individual entrepreneurs working based on patent will work.
The park will consist of the following sectors:
- Industrial area
- Center for logistics, customs, marketing and management
- Exposition Center
- Administrative and household, economic, sports, cultural and educational complexes
As expected, the construction of the park will contribute to attracting investments in the amount of $50 million only in the first stage, and in the future - $200 million.
Construction work will be carried out in two stages: The first at the beginning of the quarter of 2019 involves the construction of engineering structures, garment factories and a customs and logistics center. The second stage in quarter 1-2 of 2020 will begin with the construction of an exposition center, a sports and recreational, cultural and educational complex.
Kubanychbekov thanked President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Prime Minister Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev for their support. He is confident that in the future the Silk Way will bring multimillion contribution to the treasury.
