COVID-19: Kyrgyzstan received medicines and medical equipment worth over KGS 14 mln

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. In 7 months, Kyrgyzstan has received medicines and medical equipment worth KGS 14.6 billion.

According to Prime Minister of the republic Kubatbek Boronov, the Health Ministry has updated the list of necessary medical supplies: 56 names of medicinal products and 59 names of medical equipment have been approved.

"Anticoagulants, antiaggregants are included in the list: heparin, enoxaparin, aspirin and others. The list also includes 18 items of antimicrobial preparations. At present, there is a sufficient amount of antimicrobials in the pharmaceutical companies and it is also planned to purchase them. Concerning antipyretic drugs, there are 1.5 million more packages of paracetamol and sufficient quantities of this drug on the market, 2 thousand 16 pieces of ibuprofen have been received, 572 400 more are expected in August. There is no shortage of frequently used solutions such as ringer and sodium chloride.

Anti-secretary drugs: 200 thousand 980 pieces were received in July. For example, in August, 107 thousand 72 pieces of ranitidine are expected to arrive, while omeprazole - 5 thousand 40 pieces (800 more pieces are expected)," the prime minister noted.

According to Boronov, the resuscitation departments are fully provided by the expense of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund of the republic.
