Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . Sinopharm, Pfizer and Moderna coronavirus vaccines will soon be delivered to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported Thursday.
Under the COVAX mechanism, Chinese vaccine Sinopharm is expected to arrive free of charge by the end of September 2021, and 259,000 doses of Pfizer are expected to be delivered in mid-autumn this year.
Moderna vaccine may be provided in Q1 2022 through donor support from the World Bank.
"The ministry continues to work with foreign counterparts on future vaccine supplies through diplomatic channels," the report says.
