Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2020 / Kabar /. The situation in Bishkek is calm, no facts of pogroms and looting were recorded, the press service of the Bishkek police reported.
The police officers, together with the volunteers continue to ensure public order in the capital.
All objects of private business and state property are guarded. Important strategic objects under full control.
Following the Oct. 4 parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, supporters of political parties, which failed to win seats, organized mass riots in Bishkek. The protesters seized the parliament building, the prosecutor general’s office and many others.
