Situation in currency market remains relatively stable: Kyrgyz National Bank

Bishkek, Apr. 10, 2020. /Kabar/.The situation in the Kyrgyz currency market remains relatively stable, official representative of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Karabayeva said at a briefing at the Government House.

According to her, since the beginning of the year, the dollar has grown by 11.92% against the som, that is from KGS 69.5 to KGS 78.8.

Karabayeva added from the beginning of the year to Apr. 10, the National Bank held 8 interventions worth $216.9 million.

"The volume of international reserves is currently about $2 billion 368 million," she said.
