At the moment, the situation in the domestic currency market remains relatively stable and continues to develop taking into account the trends in the development of the country's economy and foreign economic conditions, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
In conducting foreign exchange police, the National Bank continues to adhere to the floating exchange rate regime, which involves the formation of the exchange rate based on supply and demand for foreign currency.
“In countries where the floating exchange rate regime is in effect, volatility of the exchange rate is a natural phenomenon and does not always require intervention of the National Bank”, the report said.
