Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2022. / Kabar /. The situation in Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan on the border with Tajikistan is calm, at 20:00 on September 21, no skirmishes were registered, Governor of the oblast Abdikarim Alimbaev told.
He said that the information in social networks is not true.
The authorities of the region urge citizens not to believe unofficial information and not to panic.
Earlier, the information was spread on social networks that shooting has begun in Leylek region of Batken.
At 19:30, the meeting of the heads of Batken Oblast- Abdikarim Alimbaev and Sughd Oblast - Radzhobboy Ahmazoda, together with law enforcement agencies, began.
