Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2020 /Kabar/. The situation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border is stable, the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Checkpoints across the state border with Kazakhstan operate normally, carrying out the passage of persons, vehicles and goods.
The Border Service of Kyrgyzstan recorded an increase of passenger traffic from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan at the checkpoints on Feb. 7 and 8, 2020.
Today, Feb. 9, there is an outflow of citizens of Kazakhstan from Kyrgyzstan. So, as of 10:00 on Feb. 9 of the current year, more than 1000 citizens of Kazakhstan left Kyrgyzstan,” the report said.
The Border Service of Kyrgyzstan monitors the situation at checkpoints across the state border with Kazakhstan.
On Feb. 7, in the village of Masanchi of Kazakhstan, a group fight broke out between the residents.
After that, at the checkpoints on Kyrgyz-Kazakh border an increase in passenger traffic (mainly women and children) from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan was recorded.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, as a result of the conflict, eight people died and more than 40 were injured.
