Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2019. / Kabar /. At 18:30 on Dec. 18, the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border is characterized as relatively stable, the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
As a result of negotiations, in order to prevent the escalation of the incident, fences installed by citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on indescribable sections of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border has begun to be dismantled.
A Kyrgyz citizen installed a fence on a site allocated to him, which is located near the conditional border line in the area of Kak-Sai, Batken Oblast.
Then, on Dec. 16 in the area of Kok-Tash village of Batken Oblast, on an indescribable section of the state border, Tajik citizens installed a fence along the store also near the conditional border line.
In order to ensure public law and order, law enforcement officers patrol the border areas.
