Bishkek, July 20, 2022. /Kabar/. In July of this year, six children left without parental care were returned to Kyrgyzstan from Russia, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the republic said Wednesday.
Due to various circumstances, children who are citizens of Kyrgyzstan remain without parental care in other countries. As such children are identified, the Labor Ministry receives letters from diplomatic institutions accredited in Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries about the need for repatriation.
Upon their return to Kyrgyzstan, children are placed with relatives or with foster families with registration of guardianship. If this is not possible, they are placed in state institutions for subsequent adoption.
Thus, in July of this year the Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan repatriated 6 children from Russia.
