Six investment projects worth USD 63 mln to be implemented in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2022 . / Kabar /. Six investment projects worth $63 million are expected to be implemented in Kyrgyzstan, head of the coordination department of investment attraction Tolkunai Taalaibekova told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

She noted that currently the Agency for Investment and Development of the Kyrgyz Republic supports six investment projects worth $ 63 million.

"We expect that 1,350 additional jobs will be created. In addition, we expect the implementation of another 11 projects worth $190 million. We also plan to hold several investment road-shows, which will be held in South Korea, the United States and the European Union," Taalaibekova said.

The head of the department added that tomorrow Bishkek will host an energy forum dedicated to the development of renewable energy prospects in Kyrgyzstan.

"In May, it is planned to hold a forum within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union with the participation of heads of state. A group has already arrived, with which organizational issues will be discussed," Tolkunai Taalaibekova said.
