Slaughter shop built in Uzgen according to EEU standards

Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2018. / Kabar /. The construction of a modern slaughterhouse that meets the standards of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is underway in the village of Bash-Dobo, Uzgen region of Osh oblast.

According to representative of the slaughterhouse Kasimzhan Mamatov, the products from this slaughterhouse can be exported to the countries of the EEU, since the slaughterhouse is built according to all the standards of the EEU. "To do this, we specifically purchased new equipment from Russia. At present, we expect specialists from Russia to install this modern equipment," he said.

The new slaughterhouse is expected to be put into operation in Sept. this year.

"After commissioning the slaughterhouse, 40 heads of large and 80 heads of small cattle will be slaughtered here every day. 40 people will be employed there. We made a contract with the cattle breeders, from whom we will buy livestock," Mamatov added.

The total area of ​​the slaughterhouse is 500 square meters. The modern slaughterhouse meets all sanitary and hygienic requirements. A laboratory will also be built next to it to check the quality of the products.
