Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov met with Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Laichak within the framework of his participation in the Munich Security Conference (Germany).
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of a detailed elaboration of the agenda of the Kyrgyz-Slovak Intergovernmenal Commission. The sides expressed their hope for further intensification of the whole range of relations between the countries, including in the direction of intensifying economic ties and holding political consultations between the countries.
Aidarbekov invited the Slovak Republic to participate at a high level with the involvement of business in the 1st EU-CA Economic Forum in the Kyrgyz Republic in summer of 2020.
An exchange of views took place on pressing issues of regional and international politics.
