Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2021 / Kabar /. There is a slowdown in the spread of the coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a briefing.
He noted that, according to data of WHO, the rate of spread of the coronavirus pandemic in European countries has slowed down somewhat.
“The same situation is observed in Kyrgyzstan. Starting practically from December and January, in the first half of February, there is a slowdown in the spread of infection. But, nevertheless, the fact that we detect the circulation of the virus among the population does not allow us to speak of clear stability. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the recommendations and requirements, mask regime, the use of antiseptics, disinfection,” he said.
Usenbaev added that despite the warnings, part of the population forgets about the danger of coronavirus. He also recalled that a new strain of coronavirus was detected in 60 countries of the world and reached Uzbekistan.
