Bishkek, Apr. 29, 2020 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiev, at a news briefing on Wednesday said that the small and medium-sized businesses will recover quickly.
“Officially, small and medium-sized businesses make up 40% of the economy, but actually more. The lion's share of small and medium-sized businesses is in the shadows. They will recover quickly. Because mobility and rapid reorientation are inherent in this industry. We observe how quickly the production of masks, personal protective equipment, and antiseptics is being established. Entrepreneurs are ready to send their products for export,” he said.
Asrandiev added that the trade and tourism sectors will suffer the most due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Such situation is not only in Kyrgyzstan, but around the world,” added the vice prime minister.
