Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2019. / Kabar /. Due to the onset of the cold weather, air quality drops dramatically, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office told Kabar News Agency.
The press service said that with the onset of the cold weather, the amount of exhaust gases of cars increases, the amount of which exceeds the norm, the townspeople begin to heat houses and baths with garbage and rubber. All this leads to air pollution in the capital, an increase in the air quality index (AQI).
In this connection the capital city’s Mayor’s Office advises townspeople with a sensitive organism to wear masks. If possible, purchase air purifiers at home, try to open windows less and reduce active outdoor walks in peak hours.
To monitor air quality, one can install special applications on mobile phones that can be downloaded from the Play Market, App Store.
