Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2021 / Kabar /. Smokers have COVID-19 harder, head of the tobacco control department of the Republican Center for Health Promotion and Mass Communication of the Ministry of Healthcare of Kyrgyzstan Chinara Bekbasarova told during a briefing in Bishkek.

“Nicotine itself has a direct effect on blood vessels, forms thrombosis, especially if it is a person of age. So now is is the time to quit smoking,” said the doctor.

There is a call center at the Republican Center.

“Experts help, advise on how to quit smoking. There is a website help.kg, where you can also find information on how to quit smoking. Choose health,” Chinara Bekbasarova addressed the citizens.
