Bishkek, Apr. 2, 2020 / Kabar /. It is snowing at the mountain passes of Too Ashuu, Ala Bel, Otmok. Road workers of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic clear the road and add inert materials.
According to the press service of the ministry, special equipment was involved to clean the roads. Access for cars is provided.
“In connection with precipitation in the form of snow and the formation of ice on the surface of asphalt concrete pavement and gravel roads, in order to prevent the formation of congestion and traffic jams in other cross sections, the Ministry kindly asks drivers traveling to cross sections to have winter tires and anti-icing chains on the vehicle and a shovel,” the ministry warns.
Due to precipitation and expected precipitation, avalanches, snowdrifts, snowfall and icy conditions is expecting on separate roads.
When driving through avalanche hazardous areas, it is necessary to strictly observe the distance of 500 meters between cars.
