Snowfall in Kyrgyzstan leaves residents of Aidarken without electricity

Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2022. /Kabar/. In the city of Aidarken in the south-west of Kyrgyzstan, residents were left without electricity due to snowfall the day before.

According to the press service of the Batken Distribution Zone, heavy rainfall occurred on October 19, as a result, many trees broke under the weight of snow, damaging the poles.

Emergency crews are on the scene to restore power.

Electricity supply will be restored soon and the supply of electricity to houses will resume, the company promised.
