Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan appoints pensions to 78 foreigners

Bishkek, June 18, 2024. /Kabar/. The Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan has appointed pensions to 78 citizens of foreign countries.

The Agreement on pension provision for workers of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union came into force on January 1, 2021, the Social Fund reported.

According to this agreement, workers are citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Armenia and Belarus who have or had pension rights due to work or other activities in the territory of another EAEU member state.

At the moment, the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic has assigned pensions to 78 citizens, of which:

- 69 citizens of the Russian Federation,

- 8 citizens of Kazakhstan,

- 1 citizen of Belarus.

It is noted that Russia also assigned part of the pension to 51 citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
