Solemn event devoted to 30th anniversary of granting status of state language to Kyrgyz

Bishkek, Sept.23, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part in the solemn event, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of granting the Kyrgyz language the status of the state language, held at the National Philharmonic Society named after Toktogul Satylganov.

The President toured the exhibition of books and mobile applications on learning Kyrgyz for children and familiarized with the work of the Kyrgyz Test system, his press service reported.

In his speech, Jeenbekov noted the main directions for further development and popularization of the Kyrgyz language, concerning the development of a new program to improve the language policy, improve the quality of office management in state bodies, the quality of teaching the Kyrgyz language in educational institutions, etc.

The solemn event ended with a concert program.
