Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2023 . / Kabar / . On Oct. 26, as part of his working trip to Jalal-Abad Oblast, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov attended a solemn event dedicated to the City Day at the Kurmanbek stadium in Jalal-Abad.
The event began with a festive performance dedicated to the history of the name of the city of Jalal-Abad.
Making a speech, the Kyrgyzstan leader congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on the 146th anniversary of the capital of Jalal-Abad Oblast.
He stressed the importance of sacredly honoring the history of Motherland and how our ancestors once protected its border at the cost of their lives, in order to hand over our land to us, preserving its benefits.
Further, the president handed two athletes Rustambek uulu Nuradin and Amantur Ismailov keys to apartments. Sadyr Zhaparov noted that this is done to encourage athletes for their tireless work and victories in competitions.
A concert program with the participation of cultural figures and stars of the national variety was organized for the guests.
