Solemn meeting devoted to 69th anniversary of India held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2018 / Kabar /. A solemn reception was held in Bishkek on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Republic of India.

India's constitution was promulgated on Jan. 26, 1950 and India officially became the Republic.

During the reception, a fashion show "The Splendor of Indian Textiles" was presented. The fashion collection was developed under the guidance of the famous designer Dilbar Ashymbaeva and was created by Kyrgyz students using Indian textiles.

The honorable guest of the event was the spouse of the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic Raisa Atambayeva, the honored figures of Kyrgyzstan and the Ambassadors of foreign states accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic were also invited.
