Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. As a result of the Solidarity Bus campaign held from Nov. 12 till Dec. 16 this year, 1,915 citizens received free legal aid, the press service of the Kyrgyz Justice Ministry reported on Saturday.
In order to provide legal advice to the population, two mobile groups were formed from the specialists of the territorial divisions of such state bodies as: the Justice Ministry of the republic, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Social Fund, the State Registration Service under the Government, the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court, the State Agency on Land Resources under the Government.
A total of 69 specialists of territorial state bodies in Chui and 48 in Osh Oblasts were involved.
40 settlements in Chui Oblast and 28 in Osh Oblast were covered during the campaign.
Meetings of the population with experts were held in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological norms related to combating the spread of coronavirus infection in the republic.
Citizens were able to get advice on civil, family, labor, land law, state social insurance and pensions, population registration and acts of civil status, etc.
Solidarity Buses went to settlements of Chui Oblast (from Nov. 12 to Dec. 16) and Osh Oblast (from Nov. 13 to Dec. 14).
In this November, the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic resumed work on providing free legal aid to the population through the Bus Solidarity project.
