Bishkek, May 6, 2019 / Kabar /. On May 9 at 14.00 p.m the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theatre will host a festive concert dedicated to the Great Victory Day, the theater reported.
A musical and poetic evening, including songs and wartime poetry, will be held with the participation of opera soloists. The audience will hear Katyusha, Dark night, Cranes, Victory Day and other their favorite songs. Entrance to the concert is free.
In addition, Mother's Field ballet-oratorio will be held on May 12 at 17.00 p.m.
The Mother's Field ballet-oratorio is the peak of creativity of the outstanding Kyrgyz composer, People's Artist of the USSR Kaliy Moldobasanov. It was created in 1975 on the basis of the same name novel by Chyngyz Aitmatov and was awarded for the first time in the history of the Kyrgyz musical art the State Prize of the USSR. The dramatic fate of the simple Kyrgyz woman Tolgonai, who lost her husband and three sons in the Great Patriotic War, found a vivid embodiment in the staging of the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan.
