Bishkek, June 23, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev today met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kyrgyz Republic with his residence in Moscow Karsten Sendergard.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sendergard handed copies of his credentials to Minister Kazakbaev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. In particular, the prospects for cooperation in the areas of organic production and certification of agricultural products, including organic products, the development of animal husbandry, tourism, as well as the need to promote Kyrgyz export products to the markets of Denmark and the EU as a whole, taking into account Kyrgyzstan's GSP + status.
In order to further expand trade and economic cooperation, the Kyrgyz side invited the Danish delegation to take part in the 1st EU-CA Economic Forum, in Bishkek in November of this year.
Attention was focused on the need to intensify interaction in the fight against corruption, bilateral trade and investment ties, cooperation in the field of the "green economy" and renewable energy sources.
During the conversation, issues of interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and Denmark within the framework of international organizations were also discussed.
