Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2021 / Kabar /. South Korea intends to create a high-tech agricultural complex in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Today, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce hosted the 4th meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Korean Commission on Economic Cooperation chaired by Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev from the Kyrgyz side and Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lee Seong-ho from the Korean side.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Korean side is currently exploring the possibility of implementing the Smart Farm grant project in Kyrgyzstan through the KOICA, in particular, the “Project for the creation of a pilot high-tech agro-industrial complex in the Kyrgyz Republic”.
This is a complex designed for growing vegetables and berries using new technologies, including the function of managing smart greenhouses, such as remote monitoring and control of temperature and humidity.
