Osh, Nov. 26, 2019. / Kabar/. Social facilities will be built in 12 villages of Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast with the financial assistance of South Korea. This became known during a meeting of Batken governor Akram Madumarov with Consul of South Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic Kang Songkuk.
During the meeting, it became known that South Korea, through the international Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOIСA), will finance the construction of social facilities in 12 villages of Batken Oblast. Within the framework of the My Village project, new first aid stations, kindergartens will be built in the selected villages, roads are to be repaired, clean drinking water to be provides and much more.
In addition, previously, several representatives of these villages underwent training in South Korea. During the meeting, the Batken governor thanked South Korea for making a contribution in solving the social problems of the population.
From his part, the consul said that South Korea is always interested in cooperation with Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.
