Bishkek, March 29, 2022 / Kabar /. Sowing work is almost completed in the south of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azamat Mukashev told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.
He said that all sowing work has been completed by 80% in the valley zone and in the foothill zone of Chon-Alai region they will only begin.
“In the north of the country, work has been completed by 50% due to weather conditions, but they will continue in the second decade of April, when stable weather sets in,” the deputy minister explained.
He also noted that in March, rainfall was above the norm in the territory of the republic, which has a positive effect on the work of farmers.
