Bishkek, Aug. 8, 2022. / Kabar /. Jalal-Abad Oblast Governor Absattar Syrgabaev met with representatives of the Spanish Ekoener company in Central Asia regarding the construction of small and large hydroelectric power plants in Jalal-Abad Oblast.
During the meeting, the investors announced that they plan to build in Jalal-Abad large and small hydropower plants with a capacity of 400 MW. In addition, the investors were informed about the company's activities in this direction, and convenient places for construction were discussed.
Governor said that there are many opportunities for the construction of a small hydroelectric power station on the Chatkal and other small rivers in the region, and offered to inspect the facilities on the spot. He also said that regional and local authorities would provide assistance in the implementation of the project.
