Speaker Dzhumabekov and Turkish President participate in event dedicated to memory of victims of July 15

Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov in Ankara city together with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan took part in the event, dedicated to the memory of the victims of July 15, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported.

On 15 July 2016, a coup d'état was attempted in Turkey against state institutions, including the government and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the coup, over 300 people were killed and more than 2,100 were injured.

The official visit of the parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov will be continued by bilateral meetings.

In addition, Dzhumabekov is expected to meet with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Shentop.

The delegation included deputies Almazbek Akmatov, Iskander Gaipkulov, Ziyadin Zhamaldinov, Torobai Zulpukarov, Kanatbek Isaev, Talant Mamytov.
