Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament holds emergency meeting

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov held an emergency meeting because of the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Leilek region of Batken Oblast, the press service of the parliament said.

As a result of the meeting, by the instruction of Speaker Dzhumabekov, a group of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh headed by deputy Mirlan Bakirov, left for Batken Oblast.

On Monday evening a result of the incident on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, a soldier of the Kyrgyz border service was killed, several citizens were injured.
