Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament leaves for Samarkand

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2022. /Kabar/. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev left for a working visit to Samarkand (Uzbekistan) to participate in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).

According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the program of the event includes a plenary meeting of the IPA CIS, meetings of the IPA permanent commissions with the participation of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, as well as an award ceremony for the IPA CIS named after Chyngyz Aitmatov.

In addition, during the visit, the speaker will meet with the heads of parliaments of the Commonwealth member countries in a bilateral format, the report said.

The delegation included members of the Jogorku Kenesh Iskender Matraimov, Aida Isatbek kyzy, Alisher Kozuev, Zhusupbek Korgonbai uulu, Arslanbek Maliev, Talaibek Masabirov and Zhyldyz Taalaibek kyzy.
