Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament Mamytov to pay official visit to Russia

Bishkek, Feb. 18, 2022 . / Kabar / . A parliamentary delegation led by Jogorku Kenesh Speaker Talant Mamytov will pay an official visit to Russia on Feb. 21-22. This is the first official visit of the 7th convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh.

Earlier, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin invited his counterpart Talant Mamytov to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation.

During the two-day visit, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh will meet with Vyacheslav Volodin. The two speakers will discuss issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, joint activities within the Eurasian Economic Union, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Special attention will be paid to migration issues.

It is also planned to debate issues of migration registration of labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan, application of administrative measures to them and labor contracts concluded by employers. In addition, Talant Mamytov will discuss with his colleague the most pressing issues of Kyrgyz carriers.

The parliamentary delegation will also meet with Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matvienko.
