Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament visits daytime inpatient center in Chui Oblast

Bishkek, July 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the republic, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) Dastanbek Dzhumabekov visited a day time inpatient center in Suusamyr at the Tokoiluu road emergency station.

The speaker toured the hospital and handed over assistance worth KGS 250,000, including salaries to medical personnel, personal protective equipment, medicines and an oxygen concentrator, the press service of the Parliament reported.

Dzumabekov expressed gratitude to the medical staff for their courage and selfless work in the pandemic. In connection with the difficult epidemiological situation in the country, he noted the timeliness of opening a day hospital, which is located on an important section of the Bishkek-Osh highway.

It serves a section of the road from the southern side of the Too Ashuu tonnel to 209 km of Ala-Bel pass, as well as provides assistance to people in transit, leisure tourists, as well as cattle breeders during grazing at pastures.

The distance to Suusamyr village is 35 km, to the town of Kara-Balta (Chui Oblast) is more than 100 km and there is no public transport.
