Speakers of parliaments of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia sign memorandum of cooperation

Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2024. /Kabar/. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev and Chairman of the State Great Khural Gombojav Zandanshatar signed a memorandum of cooperation between the parliaments of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the memorandum provides for the creation of a commission for cooperation between the Jogorku Kenesh and the State Great Khural of Mongolia, and also includes provisions aimed at further deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Including, establishing interaction at the level of specialized committees, parliamentary friendship groups, strengthening ties on the international platform.

Before the signing ceremony, the speakers held negotiations and exchanged views in a narrow circle, and then in an expanded format discussed issues of increasing political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
