Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. The Kalkan special forces team of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic took an honorable 4th place in the overall team competition at the international competition among special units The UAE Swat Challenge 2024 in Dubai.
The press service of the State Committee for National Security said that 70 teams representing more than 40 countries of the world took part in the competition.
The competition, which took place from February 3 to 7 in Dubai, provided an opportunity for special forces to show their skills, professionalism, skill and coordination.
From the first day of the competition, the Kalkan team showed incredible strength, discipline and ingenuity. In exciting tests, it demonstrated excellent skills, cooperation and professionalism in the most difficult situations. Each team member put in all their efforts to achieve success and overcome any difficulties that stand in the way of victory. Despite the tough competition from teams from all over the world, the Kalkan team was able to overcome many challenges with dignity.
In 2023, the Kalkan special forces team took 8th place in the overall team competition, and took 3rd place in one of the exercises.
